We put your top goals to the gym team – here’s their advice to help you achieve them

When it comes to nutrition, the two main goals that you ask our Gym team about are ‘How do I lose weight?’ and ‘How do I bulk, or tone/cut?’. So we’ve decided to put together some helpful advice…

First up, know your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate). Your BMR indicates how many calories are required to keep your body functioning at rest. You can find out your BMR in 2 ways. Firstly, by stepping onto our body composition machine at Pulse 8, which is located in the Cube on the first floor near the spiral staircase. By putting in your details, you will get a readout that includes your BMR and other useful benchmarks from which to base your progress.
